Meet the Team


Soham Gandhi: Co-founder

Soham Gandhi, the founder and a tutor of Teach4Charity, is a rising senior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. He is an avid coder and has found a love for STEM. He is a part of the TJ CubeSat team that has designed and launched a satellite into space. He is also part of the congressional debate team and has debated on the national and local circuit. He has been tutoring since elementary school and now he wants to continue to tutor in his field of interest.

Shril Shah: Co-Founder/President

Shril Shah is a junior at Thomas Jefferson High School. Math has always been his favorite subject as his mom and grandpa were also math teachers. He has participated and placed well in many math tournaments like Math Kangaroo, Math Counts, and Math Olympiad. He would love to share his knowledge of math with other kids.



Anvith Ponneganti: Vice President/Tutor

Anvith Ponneganti, a tutor of Teach4Charity, is a rising junior at the Academy of Engineering and Technology and also attends Broad Run High School. He is engrossed in Science and Math and has an immense interest in the medical field. He has founded the Medlife Club at his home school. This club is a subjunctive of a well known international organization called Medlife. Anvith has very strong morals and joined in tutoring for this charity tutoring class, because he is all about giving back to the community.


Sanjay Jacob: Tutor

Sanjay is a junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, and is excited to be a part of the Teach4Charity organization. His hobbies include computer science and rocketry in his spare time. He has also been a part of many academic competitions including Regional Math Olympiad and Global Finalists for LaunchX. He has been tutoring peers for over a year, and wishes to continue this while giving back to the community simultaneously.


Aditi Priya-Swaminathan: Tutor

Aditi Priya-Swaminathan is a senior at Broad High School and is pleased to start tutoring at Teach4Charity. Her hobbies include drawing, painting, writing, long boarding, and aerospace studies. She is a part of Broad Run's crew team, founded the Model UN club, and has done freelance tutoring since middle school. She has a passion for teaching and hopes to share her knowledge of math in the best way she can.


Saisreekar Mendu: Tutor

Saisreekar Mendu is currently an 9th grader at Farmwell Station Middle School. At a young age, the fields of medical science and math have stimulated him. He has participated in many STEM competitions to date and ranked well in them, including (but not limited to) math kangaroo, science olympiad, science bowl, and MATHCOUNTS. He wishes to share the knowledge he accumulated with his community and, more specifically, to the people who need it the most.


Richik Haldar: Tutor

Richik Haldar is a senior at Thomas Jefferson High School. Outgoing and optimistic, he's always willing to take on the world and help anyone and everyone he can. He's a member of his school's Japanese National Honor Society and Forensic Science Society. Outside school, his hobbies include reading, speedcubing, and playing music. He's also on the congressional debate team, competing locally and nationally. As part of Teach4Charity, Richik is ready to help kids become the best they can in math and science.


Kavya Santhanam: Tutor

Kavya Santhanam is a senior at Broad Run High School. Her hobbies include music, theatre, writing, volunteering, and art. She loves to teach, and math is one of her favorite subjects, so she can't wait to begin as well as give back to the community. She has participated in math competitions in the past, and has always found an interest in the subject, as well as helping others with it. She looks forward to begin tutoring!


Srikar Kode: Tutor

Srikar Kode is an 8th grade student at Trailside Middle School. Since a young age he has had an interest in STEM. His interest has led him to compete in Science Olympiad, where he placed 3rd in Ornithology. In his free time, he likes to draw, play basketball, code, and read. He is excited to teach other students and give back to the community.


Tanmayi Mendu: Tutor

Tanmayi Mendu is a 6th grader at Farmwell Station Middle School. She loves working with kids, which is one of the reasons she has started tutoring at Teach4Charity. Having found a passion for STEM, she loves to share her knowledge. Some of her hobbies include art, writing, basketball, and gaming. At school, she is in the Math Club and Science Club. She also participates in competitions such as NSF, MATHCOUNTS, and Science Olympiad. Now, her ambition is to use her knowledge to teach other kids.
